A 53-year-old man was shot and killed in Brooklyn early Thursday morning, police said.
The man was shot in front of 1112 Flatbush Ave. near Cortelyou Road shortly after 1 a.m., police said. Officers found the victim lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the left side of his torso. He was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
