A man was arrested in a Staten Island shooting that killed two people, including a plaintiff in a stop-and-frisk case that settled last summer, officials said.

Darren Brown, 27, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder for allegedly shooting the two men in Park Hill Tuesday night during a botched robbery attempt.

Authorities said Kenrick Gray, 34, who was shot in the head, won a $125,000 settlement from the city in August after being falsely arrested by NYPD officer Michael Daragjati in April 2011. In the settlement, Gray won another $7,500 from Daragjati.

Investigators believe Gray may have been targeted for robbery after bragging about the settlement.

He and Noland Whistleton, 41, were found with gunshot wounds on the sidewalk near a Park Hill Avenue apartment building around 6:15 p.m. after Brown allegedly tried to rob them, police said.

Brown was charged with two counts each of attempted robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm.
