A man was found stabbed to death and bound to a chair in a Queens basement after a neighbor who heard cries for help called police Tuesday morning, officials said.
Officers found the adult man, who has not yet been otherwise identified, dead in the South Ozone Park residence on 131st Street about 4:50 a.m. after the first floor tenant called 911, police said.
Duct tape was used to bind the man to a chair in the basement. Police said he had trauma to the head and had suffered multiple stab wounds to his body.
The motive for the stabbing is unclear, officials said.
No arrests have been made and police said the investigation is ongoing.
