One man was injured and about 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from a truck in a two-vehicle collision on I-95 in Kensington on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened just before 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near the Girard Avenue exit, 6ABC Action News reported. It caused traffic to back up south to Penns Landing.
A hazardous materials cleanup crew joined Philadelphia police and firefighters at the scene.
The driver of the passenger car involved in the wreck was rushed to the hospital.
Only one lane of traffic was able to move north on I-95 past the accident scene.
