Police are looking for a man who slashed a livery cab driver’s hand and robbed him in the East Tremont section of the Bronx last week.
The suspect got into the cab at approximately 4:40 a.m. on March 6 at East 181st Street and Southern Boulevard. The man then asked the victim, 68, to stop at East 181st Street and Hughes Avenue. When the car stopped, the suspect slashed the driver’s right hand and demanded money, police said. He fled with an unknown amount of cash.
The victim was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital and released.
