Police are looking for a man they said lit his girlfriend on fire in the Bronx earlier this month during a domestic dispute.
Police said Jose Maldonado, 43, is wanted for throwing alcohol on his 29-year-old girlfriend and using a lighter to set the alcohol on fire about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 11 on Creston Avenue in Fordham Heights.
The woman, who has a child with Maldonado, sustained second-degree burns to her face, chest and arms, police said.
Cops ask anyone with information about Maldonado’s whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477), submit tips online or text CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
