A 35-year-old man and a young boy, believed to be his son, died after plummeting from an Upper West Side building Sunday afternoon, police said.
The man, holding the boy, dropped from an unknown floor of 124 W. 60th St. shortly after 12:30 p.m. and hitting the landing of an adjacent building. Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:43 p.m.
Emergency responders rushed the boy, believed to be 3 or 4-years-old, to St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, but he was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m.
