The Department of Transportation and NYPD said there may be residual delays near all of the street closures on August 2 and 3.

Saturday, August 2

Summer Streets opens seven miles of Manhattan streets from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for biking, walking and other activities, including a seven-block-long art installation in the Park Avenue Tunnel. Summer Streets will close Centre Street between the Brooklyn Bridge exit and Reade Street/Lafayette Street, Lafayette Street between Reade Street/Centre Street and Fourth Avenue, Fourth Avenue between Lafayette Street and East 15th Street, Union Square East between East 15th Street and East 17th Street, Park Avenue South between East 17th Street and East 32nd Street, Park Avenue between East 32nd Street and East 72nd Street and 72nd Street between Park Avenue and 5th Avenue. There are rest stops along the route.

From 12 to 6 p.m., the Seaport Community Coalition Summer Seaport Festival will close Water Street between Broad and Fulton streets.

The Ecuadorian Parade will close Northern Boulevard between 69th and 86th streets in Queens from 12 to 2:30 p.m.

Jamaica Avenue between Parsons Boulevard and 169th Street will be closed from 12 to 6 p.m. for the Jams Jamaica Avenue Festival in Queens.

The DOT Weekend Walks Sunnyside Summer Strolls will close 46th Street Between Queens Boulevard and Greenpoint Avenue in Queens from 1 to 7 p.m.

Shore Boulevard between Astoria Park South and Ditmars Boulevard will be closed from 1 to 6:30 p.m. for the DOT Weekend Walks Astoria Park Strolls in Queens.

The TAMA Summer Fest will close Tompkins Avenue between Hancock Street and Putnam Avenue in Brooklyn from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, August 3

The NYC Triathlon will close several streets in Manhattan and the Bronx from 12 to 6 p.m. In Manhattan, the northbound lane of Henry Hudson Parkway will be closed between West 57th Street and the Henry Hudson Bridge. West 72nd Street between Riverside Drive and Central Park West, as well as West 79th Street between Riverside Drive and Traffic Circle near the West Side Highway. In the Bronx, the northbound lane of the Henry Hudson Parkway will be closed between the Henry Hudson Bridge and the Mosholu Parkway. The eastbound lanes of the Mosholu Parkway will also be closed between Henry Hudson parkway and West Gun Hill Road.

Lexington Avenue between East 42nd and East 57th streets will be closed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the East 55th Street Synagogue and Friends of Dag Hammarskjold-Lexington Avenue Summer Festival.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the DOT Weekend Walks Boogie on the Boulevard will close Grand Concourse between 165th and 167th streets in the Bronx.
