The Colombian Independence Day Parade, Bronx Dominican Parade, festivals and fairs will cause traffic delays and street closures in New York City this weekend.

The Department of Transportation and NYPD said there may be residual delays near all of the street closures on July 25, 26 and 27.

Friday, July 25

From 5 to 9 p.m., the DOT Weekend Walks South Slope Summer Strolls will close Fifth Avenue between 12th and 18th streets in Brooklyn.

Third Avenue between 69th and 80th streets in Brooklyn will be closed from 6 to 10 p.m. for the DOT Weekend Walks Summer Stroll on 3rd.

Saturday, July 26

The Avenue of the Americas Festival will close Sixth Avenue between West 42nd and West 56th streets from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

From 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., the DOT Weekend Walks Tama Summerfest will close Tompkins Avenue between Hancock Street and Putnam Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

Seventh Avenue between 12th and 15th streets in Park Slope will be closed from 12 to 5 p.m. for DOT Weekend Walks 7th Avenue Summer.

DOT Weekend Walks Sunnyside Strolls will close 46th Street between Queens Boulevard and Greenpoint Avenue in Queens from 1 to 7 p.m.

From 12 to 5 p.m., 204th Street between Bainbridge and Decatur avenues in the Norwood section of the Bronx will be closed for the DOT Weekend Walks 204th Summer Festival.

DOT Weekend Walks Bronx Summer Walks on Burnside Avenue will close West Burnside Avenue between Davidson and Jerome avenues in University Heights from 12 to 5:30 p.m.

From 1 to 6 p.m., DOT Weekend Walks Van Duzer Days will close Van Duzer Street between Beach and Wright Streets in Stapleton on Staten Island.

Sunday, July 27

Madison Avenue between East 42nd and East 57th streets will be closed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Workmen’s Circle and St. Patrick’s Cathedral Fair.

From 12 to 9 p.m., A Great Day in Harlem will close the Perimeter of Grant’s Tomb, Riverside Drive between 120th Street and Tiemann Place, Claremont Avenue between 122nd Street and Tiemann Place and 122nd Street between Riverside Drive and Claremont Avenue. The event is part of Harlem Week.

The Gran Parada Dominicana Del Bronx — the Bronx Dominican Parade — will close several streets near and along its route, on Grand Concourse between East 176th and East 167th streets, from 2 to 5 p.m.

New York’s Colombian Independence Day Parade — Desfile Colombiano De Nueva York — from 12 to 2 p.m. will close Northern Boulevard between 69th and 86th streets in Jackson Heights, Queens.
