The big game might cause some big traffic headaches in New York City.

Through Sunday, Broadway will be closed to motorists for 13 blocks, between West 34th and 47th streets, for Super Bowl Boulevard.

West 41st Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues will also be partially closed Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to midnight.

Other side streets in the area will remain open throughout the week.

Heavy traffic is expected near Bryant Park, Radio City Music Hall, Piers 88/86 and Pier 40, and the Sheraton Hotel.Events in and around Midtown will also cause delays on Saturday, the city said.

On game day, drivers should expect limited access to and around the Lincoln Tunnel; motorists are advised to use alternate routes.

The Department of Transportation urged football fans to use mass transit, including subways and buses, NJ Transit, Path, Amtrak, and the Metro-North and Long Island Rail Roads.

Neither taxis nor hired cars will be able to access MetLife Stadium for the Super Bowl.

A list of closures and parking restriction information can be found on the Department of Transportation’s website.
