MBTA to reopen Green Line’s Lechmere stop

At the same time the T plans to shutdown portions of the Red Line to make repairs, the transit authority is reopening parts of the Green Line.

According to an MBTA spokesman, trolley service to Lechmere Station and Science Park will be back in action beginning Nov. 5.

The T had been using shuttle services for those stops.

The added service comes at a time when shuttle services will replace trains along the Red Line north of Harvard Station for underground repairs through March each weekend.
