Metro announces Earth Day New York partnership for 2014

Metro is pleased to announce we are once again the media partner of Earth Day New Yorkfor 2014.

Be sure to pick up Monday’s special Earth Day edition, with op-eds from Chris Noth, Matthew Modine and stories on how to make New York a greener city for all. Then, attend the Earth Day celebration on Tuesday, April 22nd at Union Square from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to partake in kids’ activities, environmentalexhibits, concerts, green product samples, and more. There will also be exhibits by Earth Day partner organizations outside of Grand Central on Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at East 43rd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue.

Other Earth Day activities include picking up a picnic box from‘wichcraftduring the month of April where $1 goes toward supporting Earth Day New York’s year-round programs. Or, buy aLevi’strucker jacket made from recycled military parachutes and Levi’s will donate $250 to Earth Day New York.
