Police believe that a woman they found strangled to death in the trunk of a car Monday was a Queens mother of three who was reported missing last week.

Young Joo Byun, 42, of Flushing, was last seen leaving her job on 55th Avenue in Maspeth at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, police said. She worked overnight at a bakery distribution warehouse, NBC News reports.

Cops discovered the woman’s body in the trunk of her blue Honda Civic parked about two miles away in Woodside. She was wearing the same clothes as when she had left work, sources told NBC.

Byun’s ex-husband, Jae-yun Cha, told NBC that they have three children together, ages 15, 14 and 7. Cha said he and Byun had planned to remarry and that he does not know how he will raise his children without their mother.

Police say they found a large amount of baked goods in the car, leading them to believe that Byun was meeting someone. Cops are looking to speak with a man Byun had recently dated, DNAinfo.com reports.
