The mother of a 2-year-old is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child after it was discovered she locked her daughter in a hot van while shopping at Hannaford's in Goffstown, N.H.
WMUR reports that Sarah Jordan, 25, left her daughter buckled into her safety seat in the rear passenger area of a locked van, according to Goffstown police.
The temperature on Tuesday was 93 degrees. The toddler was visibly red and sweating from the heat when she was found by officers, who unlocked the van.
She was treated by ambulance personnel.
