New Yorkers remembered the 20th anniversary today of the first attack on the World Trade Center.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg was among those who visited the September 11 Memorial today to pay their respects.
Like at the memorials held on Sept. 11 each year, the names of each victim were read aloud. The attack killed six people when terrorists set off a bomb in a parking garage below the World Trade Center.
A moment of silence was observed at 12:18 p.m.
Six people were ultimately convicted in the attack.
