Norristown man killed in apparent robbery

A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Monday morning after he allegedly broke into a Norristown home, reports said.

A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Monday morning after he allegedly broke into a Norristown home, reports said.

According to NBC 10, the man tried to enter the home, on the 1100 block of Willow Street, around 1 a.m. The owner of the home caught the man in the middle of his entrance and unloaded his weapon.

The owner told police that he believed the man was attempting to rob his home.

Police told the news outlet that their investigation is ongoing.
