Four Northbridge High School football players are under fire after allegations of hazing a freshman have come to light.
According to police, four members of the Northbridge High football team have been accused of hazing a freshman by pressuring him to drink urine.
The police report states that on Aug. 19, four juniors on the team told the freshman to compete in a "sled pad race" competition. When he failed to complete the race, the boy was given a gallon jug with urine in it to drink, FOX 25 reports. He immediately spit it out, not knowing the contents of the jug. Another football player then took the urine away.
The school principal reported the allegations to police. When the student who was allegedly hazed went with his mother to speak to police, he made it clear that he did not want to press charges.
Authorities told FOX 25 the football players were suspended from school and some football games.
