Police are looking for a man they say hit a woman with a ketchup bottle in a bias attack.

According to police, on April 1 around 4:40 a.m., a man approached a woman, 33, inside the Waverly Diner on Sixth Avenue and made anti-gay statements.

He then struck her in the face with a ketchup bottle, cops said.

Police described the suspect as male, black, about 6-foot-1, 200 pounds and wearing a dark baseball cap, gray baseball-style shirt with dark sleeves, jeans and dark sneakers.

Anyone with information should call 800-577-TIPS.
