Police are investigating the death of a 26-year-old man found in a Harlem apartment on Tuesday.
John DaSilva, 28, was found dead in his apartment Tuesday morning around 8:18 a.m., cops said.
A law enforcement official said DaSilva's roommate told police he last saw DaSilva on Friday before finding him this morning lying face-down.
DaSilva was found with a black bag over his head and his hands bound with rope behind his back.
The owner of the building reportedly told police he found DaSilva Friday morning in his room "rolling and bouncing around" without any clothing on.
DaSilva told the owner his behavior was due to medication he was taking, police said. Another building resident reportedly told police DaSilva seemed "depressed."
Police said ten different prescription medications were found in DaSilva's room, prescribed by three different doctors. The prescriptions included Oxycodone, Ambien, and amphetamines, cops said. Police are still working to determine what the prescriptions were for.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, police said. The investigation is on-going.
