A city bus driver was sprayed in the face with a mystery substance while driving his route this weekend in Manhattan, police said Monday.

The MTA driver stopped the BX12 bus on the corner of Isham Street and Sherman Avenue in Inwood at about 3:50 a.m. Saturday when a man approached his window from outside.
