NYPD officers helped deliver a baby in the subway this morning.
According to the NYPD, a subway rider told transit officers that a pregnant woman was in labor.
As they brought her into their office, officers comforted her, the NYPD reported.
“Others coordinated with EMS, who were on the way; however, so was the baby,” the NYPD account continues.
Three police officers delivered the baby, and both the mother and the baby, named Maxwell, are healthy and resting.
