NYPD re-releases suspect photo in 1992 Brooklyn murder

The NYPD is putting out another call for information on an unsolved 1992 Brooklyn homicide.

Police say Henderson Griffith was shot in the chest by Wade Arthur on July 28, 1992, about 10:10 p.m. at the corner of Strauss Street and Lott Avenue in Brownsville.

Griffith was 23 at the time and lived just down the street. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

Arthur would be 42 now. Police believe he was spotted in Brooklyn this past July. They describe him as 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds. They believe he has dreadlocks.
