Two plain clothed officers who witnessed a Brooklyn shooting arrested the suspect shortly after the incident on Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.

Police said the officers saw Terrell Williams, 23, of Brooklyn, shooting at Damon Page, 34, of Englewood, NJ just before 7 a.m. on MacDougal Street.

The officers then approached Williams, police said, who got down behind a parked car and tried to hide his .38 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver.

He was arrested on charges of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.

Page was shot twice in the torso, and taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
