One young man killed, another injured in Hunting Park gunfire

It appears an argument led to the gunfire.

One man was killed and another injured when gunfire erupted on the 3900 block of North Percy Street, in Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood, Monday evening.

The violence broke out about 6:40 p.m.

Brian Sweet, 20, was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 6:49 p.m., police said.

A second victim — a 22-year-old man who reportedly is Brian Sweet's older brother — sustained a gunshot wound to his right shoulder. He was being treated at Temple, and was listed in critical condition.

It appears an argument led to the gunfire, police said.
