A man has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly kicking a state trooper in the head after being arrested for ramming two cars and causing a crash, according to a report from The Patriot-News.
Christopher Witkowski, 28, allegedly slammed his car into two other vehicles in Lebanon County around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Police said the Hershey man fled the scene, then crashed his car again a short time later on Route 22 at Mount Zion Road.
Believing Witkowski was under the influence, accident responders took him to Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon for chemical testing, according to the report. As he was being transported, Witkowski allegedly kicked a state trooper in the head.
The man now faces charges of aggravated assault and driving under the influence. It is unclear whether he has obtained a lawyer.
