ALBANY – Speaking on WOR Radio on Thursday, Democratic Gov. David Paterson said he expected the Republicans to control the state Senate after Tuesday’s election. The AP reported that state Republicans are confident they overturned the 32-30 Democratic majority, but the final tally on some tight races is expected to take weeks.
