One of the worst winters in recent memory isn't done making history.
The National Weather Service is predicting between 6 and 8 inches will descend on Philadelphia between Wednesday night and Thursday evening.
The storm will invade our skies sometime after 8 p.m. Wednesday and will continue into late Thursday afternoon and early evening, according to James Bunker, an observing program leader.
Tonight we'll see single-digit temperatures, and during the day Wednesday temperatures will linger around the mid-20s before the storm takes hold.
Bunker said as of Feb. 11 this winter season as dumped a total 43.3 inches of snow on our fair city.
"And that makes it in the top 10 of total snow falls ever for Philadelphia," he said.
