A 58-year-old Philadelphia man confessed and was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run in Upper Darby that killed a man and his dog.
According to 6ABC, Ernest Marks turned himself in to police after seeing multiple media reports about the incident. Marks will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident, among other offenses.
The older-model car Marks drove was found on 47th Street in West Philadelphia on Tuesday, the news outlet reported.
Richard Patterson, a 69-year-old retiree, and his poodle, Babby, died Sunday night after they were hit by Marks' car on Providence Road.
