Temple University has climbed up the National University Rankings from 125th to 121st, while the University of Pennsylvania, Penn State, Drexel and Lehigh University all ranked in the Top 100, according to a new report.
In the annual rankings, compiled by U.S. News & World Report and made available this morning, highlighted Temple's affordability and its variety of research centers and institutions. It tied for the position with six other schools, including: Catholic University of America, Clarkson University, Colorado State University, DePaul University, Duquesne University and University of Utah.
"Temple University has always been a quality institution, and we are now gaining attention for our efforts," said President Neil D. Theobald in a news release. "As we more aggressively tell the story about Temple's exceptional faculty, researchers and students, we continue to build momentum and visibility as a university on the rise."
