Anthony Weiner delivered a passionate concession speech Tuesday night in which he declared he would never stop fighting for the middle class despite his loss in the Democratic primary. But he decided to end the night on a different note: flipping off a reporter.
Weiner reportedly flipped the bird from inside his car on his way home. Reporters who witnessed the incident took to Twitter shortly after it happened, and NY1's Lindsey Christ tweeted a photo of the video that caught the act.
"We had the best ideas, but I was an imperfect messenger," Weiner said in his concession speech.
Once a front-runner in the race, Weiner never rebounded after details of a new sexting relationship caused his support to plummet. He came in fifth place Tuesday, pulling in just 5 percent of votes.
