An early morning fire in Cambridge displaced dozens of people and sent scores of firefighters to the scene as the flames spread among three buildings.
Firefighters from Cambridge and surrounding communities battled a 9-alarm fire that broke out early Sunday morning at 159 Allston St. There were no reports of injuries, police said.
When fire crews first arrived on scene there was heavy fire showing from two of the buildings. Flames were also starting to spread to a third building.
A video of the fire was posted on YouTube. It shows much of the buildings being destroyed by flames.
Fire crews remained at the scene for hours as they battled flare ups.
The American Red Cross of Massachusetts set up an emergency shelter at a nearby school for those who were displaced by the fire.
