Photos: International Pillow Fight Day

Hundreds of New Yorkers turned out for the sixth annual Union Square
pillow fight. The international event was also celebrated in Australia,
India, Serbia and South Africa. Fighters were instructed to bring
pillows sans feathers and encouraged to stay after to clean up. Pillows
for Puppies collected the used pillows for donations to animal
shelters. Metro spotted a panda, a leprechaun, a small superhero and a
grandpa in his ‘jammies getting in on the action.
