Two months after the international movement began, Occupy Wall Street took to the Brooklyn Bridge one more time.

Thousands of protesters gathered in Foley Square, singing, dancing, and sharing their tales of Thursday’s “Day of Action.”

Just before 6 p.m., some protesters were arrested after they attempted a sit-in at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Over 240 protesters were arrested throughout the day’s events, but protesters remained hopeful and silent as they crossed the bridge during their “Festival of Lights.”

Some held LED candles and others grasped glow sticks as NYPD helicopters hovered over head.

The scene greatly differed from that of Oct. 1, when more than 700
protesters were arrested after they marched onto the roadway on the
bridge, blocking car traffic.
