As the sun shines on the east coast today, leftover damage serves as an eerie reminder of the hurricane that temporarily crippled cities over the weekend.

Things are slowly returning to normal for people who live in and around
NYC, but the storm still caused major damage and claimed at
least 21 lives on the mid-Atlantic region.Most NYC subway service resumed at 6 am, but Con
Ed reports 106,000 utility users were still without service this
morning. Here are some photos of the most severe damage in Atlantic
