Police, veterans, boy scouts and activist groups marched through the streets of Boston on Monday in honor of the nation's military veterans.
Hundreds of people marched in Boston's Veterans Day parade that began near the Boston Common and ended at City Hall Plaza.
People lined Boylston Street to cheer on those who participated in the parade.
Also on Monday, various businesses and attractions in Boston offered free admission and tours as part of their effort to recognize active military members and veterans.
