Philadelphia police have identified two men killed in separate shootings that happened within minutes of each other early Sunday.
The deadly shootings occurred about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police first responded to Harrowgate Plaza, located at I and Tioga Streets, shortly after 2:30 Sunday morning upon receiving a report of a gunshot victim. Arriving officers found 24-year-old Adrian Zamora, of the 3900 block of North Darien Street, had been shot. He was inside an SUV.
Zamora died at the scene.
Philadelphia police were then called to the scene of a second homicide about two miles away, in the city's Frankford section, just 10 minutes after the Harrowgate shooting was reported. Officers found Jasper Long, 31, of the 8700 block of Glenloch Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side of his torso on a sidewalk there.
Long was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he died.
