A week after an unknown man flung a hot coffee in the face of a Dunkin' Donuts cashier, scalding her, police have identified the suspect.
William Houser, 36, of the 3400 block of North Carlisle Street, is now wanted for aggravated assault in connection with the coffee throwing incident that occurred last week on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at a Dunkin' Donuts in Logan at 4701 N. Broad St.
Around 1:09 p.m. on Jan. 8 a man who employees knew as "Will" entered the coffee chain and tried to buy a coffee with an expired coupon.
He got into a verbal altercation with a cashier over the coupon, then flung a full cup of coffee in her face.
She was burned but did not require medical attention.
Police are currently seeking Houser, who is believed to frequent the 4700 block of Old York Road.
