Police are searching for a suspect who tried to lure an 8-year-old girl outside of a Bronx school on Thursday.
A man approached the girl as she was walking up the steps of P.S. 33 on Jerome Avenue around 8 a.m., police said. The suspect then attempted to lure the student into following him. The girl refused and ran into the school to tell teachers.
The suspect is described as being a black male in his 20s, about 5 ft. 9 in. tall and last seen wearing a black jacket, black shoes, brown hat and a hooded sweatshirt.
