Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting on the 8400 block of Suffolk Place this morning.

One person was injured in the gunfire, which happened about 6 a.m., 6ABC Action News reports.

The victim was shot twice, in the chest and face, by someone who fired a gun through the window to a front door, and was rushed to a local hospital.

Police reportedly held a Mercedes at the scene.
