Police nabbed a bank robber yesterday afternoon.
A man presented a demand note at the Susquehanna Bank on the 1800 block of Walnut Street around 10:30 a.m. and made away with less than $2,000. He fled westbound on Walnut.
The suspect, 38-year-old Lester Peak of the 1000 block of S. 48th Street, was apprehended by police a short time later at 4th and Market.
