By July 15, he was out — albeit unintentionally. The New York Daily News reported on Monday that Waisome was let go from the jail a full year before he was slated to be released.

Two corrections officers were reportedly suspended after the bureaucratic blunder, and a supervising captain might face disciplinary action.

The Department of Corrections was not immediately available for comment.

Police described Waisome as 6-feet-2-inches and 185 pounds.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or to submit tips online.
