Police are seeking a 23-year-old in connection with a murder in Chelsea over the weekend.

Chelsea and State Police are after Antonio Rivera, who is wanted in connection with fatally shooting Juan Carlos Rodriguez early Saturday morning at the French Naturalization Club on Spencer Street.

Authorities believe a disagreement spiraled out of control at the club and ended with the murder of Rodriguez. Rivera is wanted for homicide and unlawful possession of a firearm. He is described as being about 6 feet 1 inches tall and 200 pounds. He has connections to both the Boston and Providence areas, according to police.

The slaying of Rodriguez was the second fatal shooting in Chelsea early Saturday.

Tuesday, Hector Ramireswas held without bail in connection with the fatal shooting of Katerin Gomez on Shawmut Street, a crime that occurred just after midnight on Saturday.
