Philadelphia Police are looking for a suspect who they say shot a 26-year-old man in Southwark East last month after the victim wouldn't give up his iPhone.
Around 5:30 a.m., June 26, the victim was on the 1600 block of 7th street when he was approached by an unknown man armed with a gun demanding his phone, police said. The victim refused and began to struggle with the suspect who then fired his gun several times, hitting the victim once in this chest. The suspect then fled south on 7th Street.
The suspect is described as a black male, 30-years-old, thin build, 160 lbs., clean shaven and close cut hair. He was last seen wearing light-colored shorts and a brown t-shirt.
