A Powerball ticket sold in Montgomery County hit for $1 million in Wednesday's drawing, lottery officials said.
The ticket correctly matched all five white balls — 14-18-25-33-49 — but not the red Powerball, 23, to earn the $1 million prize. Twenty-five percent is withheld from the federal government.
The ticket was sold at McKinley Market, 903 Township Line Road, in Elkins Park. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold in Bridgeport in Montgomery County on May 21 and a $2 million Powerball ticket sold in Hatboro, also in Montgomery County, for the June 4 drawing.
The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize.
