As November election day inches closer, President Barack Obama will be back in his favorite fundraising territory the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 18 — the liberal-leaning, deep-pocketed island of Manhattan.
Obama is scheduled to arrive at JFK airport via Air Force One just after 3 p.m. tomorrow. He will attend campaign events in Manhattan, and then is scheduled to leave the city at about 11 p.m.
Tomorrow’s visit will be Obama’s 40th cash-grabbing trip to New York City in the past three years, and Obama has far out-fundraised Mitt Romney in The Big Apple.
The last time he was in New York City was the week of Aug. 20, when POTUS came for a fundraiser dinner at the Time Warner Center hosted by Michael Jordan. About 120 people attended and plates sold for $20,000 each.
