A Queens man is in stable condition after collapsing from a heart attack on Saturday while filing a noise complaint about his neighbor’s dog, police said.

His nerves frayed by the clicking nails of his upstairs neighbor’s Shih Tzu, the 53-year-old man called in a complaint around 2:30 p.m. Two officers had just arrived at the man’s Rego Park home when he began experiencing chest pains and collapsed, police said.

The officers administered chest compressions and called in backup, reviving the man with a defibrillator before transporting him to the North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital in Forest Hills, where his condition had stabilized as of Saturday night.
