A driver who barreled into another car and killed a Queens man in Howard Beach early on Saturday morning was apparently driving drunk, police said.

James Celauro, 23, crashed his 2006 Ford sedan into a 2001 Saturn around 1 a.m. Saturday morning, sending the car careening down the block, police said.

The other driver, identified as 38-year-old Jimmy Sinisi, was pried from the wreck and rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Celauro, whose car caught fire after coming to a halt, was also hospitalized in stable condition. He is being charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWAI, or driving while ability impaired, police said.

Sinisi, of Ozone Park, was a musician who also went by the name Marvin Gardens. He was a vocalist for a band called the Wordy Bums, who posted on their Facebook page about his passing.

“We had our hearts ripped out of our chests today,” the post read. “Jim Sinisi aka Marvin Gardens was taken from us in an automobile accident. Jim was the nucleus, the catalyst, the engine… the Wordy Bums can never be the same without such an integral part of this machine. We are truly blessed to have shared the stage with him and witness true talent. Rest easy Jim, we love you kid!”

A police investigation is ongoing.
