New York doesn’t permit recreational marijuana usage — at least not yet — but that hasn’t stopped one Queens bar from getting into the spirit of April 20, fondly known by cannabis aficionados as 4/20.
For one day only, Astoria’s Snowdonia Pub is offering a special menu inspired bythe much-loved stoner holiday.
The pub won’t have”edibles” like pot brownies, but it does boast a selection of decadent concoctions designed to appeal to someone with a bad case of the munchies.
“Like, dig the menu, man,” the bar’s official Twitter account said in a post on Saturday that linked to the menu.
The Munchathon offerings include a burger served between two “buns” made of deep-fried macaroni and cheese, skirt steak and kimchi tacos, and for dessert, a panna cotta sprinkled with kids’ cereal like Froot Loops and Apple Jacks.
Naturally, the menu went live promptly at 4:20 p.m.
