Queens teen arrested for fatal stabbing

A Queens teenager has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of another Queens teen over the weekend, police said.

Andrew Benitez, 17, has been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Benitez allegedly stabbed Aaron Jefferson, 18, once in the back on 89th Avenue in Jamaica at about 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, police said. Jefferson, of Rosedale, was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
