Quincy man stabbed at MBTA station

A 22-year-old man was in critical condition after being stabbed twice in the chest at the Quincy Center MBTA station Wednesday.

According to police reports, officers arrested 17-year-old Marvin Lindor, Quincy, and two juveniles after they were identified by witnesses.

The suspects were taken to MBTA Transit Police Headquarters, where they were each booked for two counts of assault & battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

According to police reports, around 3:45 p.m. the victim allegedly got into an altercation with five males inside the T station.

Police said the victim’s father, who was also present during the incident, had parked his car on Burgin Parkway and went to his son’s aid when he saw the altercation happening.

According to reports, the father was also punched and kicked by the suspects when he went to help his son.

Police said the incident is under investigation by the Transit Police, Quincy Police and State Police.
